About the Role
We are seeking talented individuals to join our world-class maintenance team as Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitters and Light/Medium Vehicle Fitters. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our equipment, predicting operations, and maintaining a safe work environment for our people.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, our Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations.
- Oversee preventative and breakdown maintenance of mining machinery, site infrastructure, and support equipment.
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
- Foster positive and productive working relationships and team culture.
- Complete Field Leadership activities as per KPIs.
- Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities.
About You
You will possess a mechanical trade qualification, a C-Class Driver's License, and the ability to work in planned or breakdown maintenance environments. You will also have an adaptable, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to safety.
