About the Role

We're seeking a highly-motivated and driven individual to join our growing APAC team as a Sales Development Representative.

You'll play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, working autonomously to source highly-qualified opportunities for Account Executives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing qualified opportunities through proactive outreach and strategizing with sales, channel, and marketing teams.
  • Researching accounts, identifying key players, and uncovering business problems within large retail enterprises.
  • Delivering compelling messages to generate interest and conducting initial discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments Executives.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements, effectively articulating how Forter can partner to solve them.
  • Providing insight into an organisation's structure, successfully identifying decision makers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience with sales and prospecting tools, such as Salesforce.com, Outreach, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • A minimum of 12 months of previous business experience in a sales environment, preferably within a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to position a clear, concise, and well-understood message.
  • Solid technical aptitude and genuine interest in tech and e-commerce solutions.
  • Ability to navigate systems and tools, follow process, and thrive working toward monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • A desire to grow and advance a client-facing career in sales.
