Head Concierge Job Description

Our Head Concierge plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operations of our Concierge team, delivering exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations. This individual will join a dynamic family committed to creating memorable experiences for all who interact with our hotel.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Lead and support the Concierge team, overseeing daily operations and fostering a culture of excellence.">
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, performance, and teamwork among Concierge team members, emphasizing training and collaboration.">
  • Develop and authorize rosters, ensuring optimal employee levels are maintained while controlling costs.">
  • Coordinate guest transportation, ensuring timely pickups and drops offs, and accurately charge transfers.">
  • Promote the use of front and back office equipment, implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.">
  • Evaluate team member performance using established review systems, conducting regular check-ins and addressing performance issues as needed.">

Requirements:

">
  • Proven leadership experience in Front Office or Concierge roles, preferably in similar settings.">
  • Hold full working rights within Australia.">
  • Familiarity with Opera Cloud system is a plus.">
  • Demonstrate passion for people and hospitality, with excellent interpersonal skills.">
  • Display hands-on leadership abilities, nurturing and developing team members to achieve their best.">
  • Show independence and confidence in decision-making, especially in high-pressure situations.">
  • Meet excellent grooming standards.">
  • Able to work varied shifts.">
