About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Branch Manager to lead our Workers Compensation leadership team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operations of our Long-Term Management (55-130 Week Claims) claims teams, ensuring a high-quality claims service for Injured Workers and Employers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to your teams, ensuring a professional and customer-focused claims service.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with staff, Worksafe, employers, and service providers.
  • Work with your teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance claimant and client experiences.
  • Analyse team performance trends and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Create and achieve individual team business plan goals aligned with company priorities.
  • Integrate risk management into all business functions to minimize adverse impacts and realize opportunities.
  • Improve claims management outcomes and adhere to SLA requirements.
  • Drive career-focused conversations to facilitate learning and development within your teams.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous Workers Compensation Insurance experience with a strong understanding of industry-related legislation.
  • Advanced knowledge of claims management concepts in Workers Compensation practices.
  • Proven client relationship and engagement experience at a leadership level.
  • Strong people leadership, management experience, and motivational ability.
  • Experience in recruiting, developing, and retaining individuals.
  • Ability to identify patterns or trends that require corrective action across people and operations.
  • Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
