Advanced Work Health and Safety Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Work Health and Safety (WHS) Advisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our WHS team. The successful candidate will have experience in coaching, engaging, and influencing the workforce to ensure the highest standard of health and safety is achieved.
The WHS Advisor will work closely with business units to deliver practical solutions that make health and safety real and valued. They will help drive continuous improvement, build leadership WHS capability, and ensure we meet our duty of care responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate key WHS projects and initiatives.
- Support the implementation of the WHS strategy and plan.
- Provide expert advice on WHS systems, contractor management, and injury management.
- Drive continuous improvement and risk management.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and influence positive safety outcomes.
Requirements:
- Broad experience in WHS roles within large organizations.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and practical application.
- High level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
