Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our tax dispute resolution team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing for, managing and resolving complex tax disputes.

Candidates with over 10 years' experience in advisory firms, Big 4 or government agencies are invited to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop written and oral advocacy skills and provide legal advice on taxation law and administrative law.
  • Collaborate with specialist groups across various practice areas.
  • Manage multiple complex projects through collaboration with cross-divisional specialists.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in an advisory or Big 4 professional services firm, a law firm or the Australian Taxation Office will be viewed favourably.
  • Ability to negotiate with high level discretion with internal or external parties such as clients, government bodies and other organisations.
  • Strong relationship building skills to establish effective senior level management and board client relationships.
