Childcare Coordinator Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic and engaging Childcare Coordinator to lead our team in providing high-quality childcare services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a fun, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.

The Coordinator will create daily plans and organize activities, supervise and support the children, prepare and serve healthy food options, and build meaningful relationships with families and the school community.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about childcare and has a strong ability to form positive relationships. If you have completed or are studying towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality childcare services
  • Create daily plans and organize activities for children
  • Supervise and support children during playtime, meals, and sleep times
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options for children
  • Buld meaningful relationships with families and the school community

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and engaging approach to childcare
  • Completed or studying towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
  • Availability to work from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
