Senior Civil Designer Position

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our Community Development team. This role will suit a skilled Civil Designer who has worked on multi-disciplined civil projects for councils, local government, main roads, or developers.

Our team focuses on community development consulting, delivering solutions in urban, land, and subdivision projects. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.

This role can be based in either Carrara or Springfield. You will have the opportunity to work from early stages on a long-term landmark master planned estate.

The Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)">
  • Interpreting civil design requirements of state government, local government authorities, and private sector clients">
  • Interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping">
  • Interacting with clients regarding project needs">

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrate senior civil designer experience in land, urban, and subdivisions">
  • Relevant qualifications (graduate diploma in civil engineering or equivalent)">
  • Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D software">
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements">
  • A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development">
