About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Alexandra Hills. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and engage our customers in lifestyle activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' daily needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of comfort and security.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting their independence and social connections.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia, and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements

  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual, with a genuine desire to assist our aged community.
  • You must hold a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of this role.
  • You must be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and seeking support from your Manager when needed.
  • You must be available to work at least three days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
