Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Project Engineer to join our team at Evolve Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale civil engineering infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Health and Safety
  • Maintain the highest standard of health and safety on site, implementing safety plans and leading by example.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Project Management
  • Ensure the employer's requirements are met at all times, and the contractor is complying with project documentation.
  • Proactively work with site parties to achieve the highest standard of permanent and temporary works.
Communication
  • Maintain constant communication with the project manager on the status of issues observed and requiring mitigation.
  • Provide guidance to the contractor and other stakeholders as required.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with the latest project drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
  • Detect and report any discrepancies, omissions, or faults in project documents.
Reporting
  • Provide daily and weekly reports to the project manager on progress and quality issues.

Requirements

  1. Education
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience working on large-scale civil engineering infrastructure projects with a focus on underground construction.
