About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic leader to join our team as a Lead School Psychologist. As a key member of our education region, you will provide professional leadership and support to a dedicated team of school psychologists across the Pilbara region.

As a Lead School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with other team members to develop and implement programs and interventions that promote student well-being and academic success. You will also provide leadership and guidance to ensure that our school psychologists are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality services to our students and families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in school psychology and a proven track record of leadership and collaboration. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our school psychology team, ensuring that our services are aligned with the Department's policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership and support to the school psychology team
  • Develop and implement programs and interventions to promote student well-being and academic success
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure that school psychologists are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality services
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
  • Ensure that our services are aligned with the Department's policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • Hold or be eligible for general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights
  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check
  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check
  • Have achieved Advanced Skills School Psychologist status
