Job Opportunity:

This position involves collaborating with a professional team to offer expert advice to clients and navigate the complexities of ongoing projects. The role requires effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and allied professionals to manage proposals efficiently and secure successful approvals.

The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for conducting feasibility reviews, managing development proposals, and enhancing the consultant team's functions to better serve clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preliminary reviews of development sites in line with relevant legislation.
  • Manage multiple development proposals for clients, coordinating with Council and other professionals as needed.
  • Analyse and enhance the consultant team's processes to better serve clients.
  • Attend meetings with clients, stakeholders, and professionals at Council, on-site, and at office.
  • Prepare documentation, including technical information.
  • Handle inquiries, providing technical advice to new and existing clients.
  • Assist with project management of land division and urban development proposals post-consent and approval.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. You should also possess proven experience in assessing and managing environmental applications, including use of computerised systems.
