Job Opportunity: Financial Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our management team. The ideal candidate will have excellent working conditions, professional development, and a supportive work environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for key accounting tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and asset management. They will also be expected to develop systems and resources to streamline processes and automate procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and prepare accurate financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management reports on freight, travel, marketing, and stock
  • Formulate accounting policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with senior members of the organisation to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • At least 3 or more years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field
  • Proficient in contemporary accounting systems and office software suites
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Australian taxation law and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
