- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Leadership and Guidance: Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs), to deliver top-quality patient care and promote a culture of excellence.
- Patient Education and Support: Empower patients with education and support for their health recovery and overall well-being, promoting independence and self-management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care: Provide individualized care to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Lead and manage the nursing team: Supervise and guide nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement care plans: Create and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration: Hold a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical Experience: Bring a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience to the role, with a strong foundation in theatre nursing.
