Job Description:
We require an experienced Theatre Registered Nurse to join our team at a prestigious public hospital in North NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient-Centered Care: Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on the ward.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
- Safety First: Prioritise patient and staff safety while upholding the highest care standards.
- Team Leadership: Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs), to deliver top-quality patient care.
- Patient Education: Empower patients with education and support for their health recovery and overall well-being.
Essential Criteria:
- Clinical Experience: Bring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience to the role, with a strong foundation in Theatre nursing.
- Current AHPRA Registration: Hold a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical Competence: Exhibit sound clinical decision-making skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Effective Communication: Showcase excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team Player: Thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Basic Computer Skills: Possess proficiency in basic computer operations.
