This unique opportunity is designed for non-VR General Practitioners to receive fully funded training and complete their Fellowship. Job Details:

As a General Practitioner in Dysart, Queensland, you will gain valuable experience in rural medicine and emergency care.

  • Our team offers comprehensive support through weekly webinars, face-to-face workshops, online resources, on-site clinical teaching, remote supervision and exam preparation.
  • The practice has a solo doctor with a support staff of one RN and two ENs that job share, with no pathological service available.
  • Regular mental health visits are provided by an external team, and allied health services include physiotherapy, social work and OT at the nearby hospital.
  • The medical centre operates as a mixed billing practice, bulk billing patients with senior and concession cards, while privately billing others.

Key requirements include AHPRA registration, 2 years Australian Medical system experience, and a genuine interest in rural medical practice and emergency care.

Additional after-hours commitments involve covering the local hospital 24/7.
