About the Role

Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join their team across the Motorways & Tunnels contract. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, business hours as usual.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Coordination
  • Schedule project activities to suit client's timeline
  • Liaise with vendors and participate in planning activities to facilitate effective delivery
Financial Management
  • Ensure activities are carried out within budget requirements
  • Contribute to regular and reliable forecasting of project costs
Operational Updates and Assurance
  • Contribute to the provision of regular operational updates
  • Support assurance (risk, quality, compliance, safety, value for money) collaboratively with team
Transition and Support
  • Support the transition to a network-based model

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical or mechanical)
  • Previous experience working in Transport, preferable in motorways
  • Valid driver's license and white card
  • Ability to work night shift (one week every three months)
