Job Summary:

The Field Engineer performs activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide on-site support to various clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  2. Support hardware such as laptops, desktops, and monitors, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  3. Install and maintain PCs along with associated accessories and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  4. Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes as required, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  5. Test and certify PCs, ensuring they meet required standards and specifications.
  6. Provide follow-up on problems, escalations, and requests, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain a high degree of professionalism, ensuring excellent customer service and communication skills.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all transactions, meeting or exceeding contracted customers' Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  9. Ensure incident and request tickets are updated according to the ticketing system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  10. Provide on-call support, being available to respond to technical issues outside of regular working hours.
Requirements:
  • NV1 Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Achieves and/or exceeds contracted customers' Service Level Agreements (SLAs), defined customer satisfaction ratings, and quarterly KPI goals.
  • Understanding of hardware and software support services, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic attitude, with a keen interest in developing a career in IT.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
  • Strong focus on providing customer service, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset, resolving complex technical issues.
  • A keen interest in developing a career in IT, with a desire to learn and grow with the company.
