About the Role

The GEL Swim School Assistant Team Leader will play a key role in overseeing the GEL Swim School, assisting the Swim School Team Leader in managing the team and ensuring the smooth operation of the swim school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in training, supervising, and providing leadership to the GEL Swim School team.
  • Collaborate with the GEL Swim School Team Leader to maintain service improvement standards in daily operations.
  • Act as a liaison on pool deck, providing customer service to swim school members and parents.
  • Assist in roster management, ensuring efficient and adequate staff coverage at GESAC and CMSP.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and achievement in the leisure industry and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Comprehensive customer service experience.
  • Provide First Aid with current CPR qualification.
  • Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate.
  • Teacher of Swimming extension courses (desirable).
