Job Opportunity for General Practitioners

We are seeking experienced VR General Practitioners to provide telehealth and primary care services to residents of Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).

  • This role involves providing primary care services, taking medical histories, undertaking clinical examinations, arranging necessary investigations, implementing management plans, and conducting regular reviews and follow-ups.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality healthcare to residents in RACFs
  • Taking a comprehensive approach to patient care, including medical histories and clinical examinations
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Unrestricted Vocational Registration (VR), with FRACGP or FACRRM preferred, or restricted VR under moratorium
  • Current AHPRA registration and permitted to work in Australia
  • Ability to apply for a Medicare Provider Number
  • Own professional indemnity insurance
  • A positive attitude and ability to work under guidance
  • Commitment to teamwork and communication skills
