Home and Community Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to provide personalised home care support to older Australians, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
About the RoleAs a key member of our care team, you will travel between clients' homes, providing domestic assistance, personal care, and community access supports. Your strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families will be essential in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:- Domestic assistance, including light house cleaning and meal preparation
- Personal care, inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing
- Community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Provide support with daily tasks and routines
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families
- A reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
- A current First Aid Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
- Casual hourly rate from $40.92 + Super
