The role of a Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.

Hours of work for a Support Worker are typically rostered within Monday to Friday between 7am to 7pm, and as a Casual employee we will seek to understand and align work with your availability in these hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A background and qualification in community services is advantageous, but just as important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values such as being friendly, willing to learn new things, and most importantly listen and understand what the customer wants.
  • You will need to have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.
