We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to power, as well as experience in designing and engineering renewable power facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with project teams to design and engineer renewable power facilities, including battery energy storage systems and balance of plant design for renewable generation. They will also develop specifications and scope of work documents, prepare detailed engineering design reports, and conduct feasibility studies for integrating renewable energy sources, energy storage, and other emerging technologies into transmission and distribution networks.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a consulting, development, or power utility environment.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to power.
- Experience in power design fields, including building services, mining, LV or MV design, with HV Substations experience being highly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive approach to building client relationships through listening, responsiveness, and effective communication.
- Project management and bid management experience.
