We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker or Peer Worker to join our community outreach programs. As a key member of our team, you will work with individuals to support their recovery journey, promoting independence and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one mentoring to assist individuals set goals and achieve them
  • Support individuals with daily tasks, such as home maintenance and community activities
  • Work in partnership with family members, carers, and other support agencies
  • Use a recovery framework to support individuals in determining their goals and making choices based on their own desires

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in mental health or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
