About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Active Directory (AD) Administrator to join our IT team at TurksLegal, a leading legal services provider. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about cloud technologies, identity management, and security.

As an Azure AD Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's Azure AD infrastructure, ensuring secure and seamless identity and access management across both cloud and on-premises systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Azure Active Directory Management
    • Manage Azure AD, including creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts and groups.
    • Configure Azure AD Connect for syncing on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD in hybrid environments.
    • Manage Azure AD Identity Protection risk-based conditional access policies and automated security responses.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
    • Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure proper permissions for Azure resources.
    • Configure and maintain Conditional Access Policies to enforce security measures based on user, device, or location.
    • Ensure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is effectively deployed across the organization to enhance security.
    • Manage user lifecycle processes, ensuring that access is properly granted and revoked during onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Oversee Identity Governance features like Access Reviews, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Azure AD Entitlement Management.
    • Monitor security reports and alerts from Azure AD Security Centre, addressing potential risks or compliance gaps.
    • Keep track of directory health with Azure AD Connect Health and resolve any sync issues between cloud and on-prem directories.
  • Group and Device Management
    • Administer dynamic groups in Azure AD and automate group membership for cloud and hybrid environments.
    • Help manage device compliance through tools like Intune and ensure devices meet organizational security standards.
  • Support and Collaboration
    • Support the Helpdesk Team with training and support
    • Provide second- and third-tier support for complex Azure AD-related issues, including access, authentication, and sync problems.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure AD with other business applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, third-party apps).
    • Assist in hybrid migrations from on-prem Active Directory to Azure AD or full cloud-based solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Keep thorough documentation of all Azure AD configurations, policies, and procedures.
    • Produce reports on user activity, access controls, and security compliance to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • At least 3 years of experience working with Azure AD and managing both on-premises Active Directory and cloud environments.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong experience with Azure AD management, including user/group management, role-based access control, and security configurations.
    • Familiarity with Azure AD Connect for hybrid environments and directory synchronization.
    • Proficient in implementing Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
    • Comfortable using PowerShell for automation and management tasks.
    • Experience with Microsoft Intune for mobile device and app management.
  • Certifications
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
    • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (or higher) is a plus.
    • Additional relevant certifications in Azure or identity management are a bonus.
  • Other Skills
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
    • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical teams.
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including ongoing training and development opportunities, team and firm-wide social events, and CSR activities.
