Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the clinical and support functions of the hospital, ensuring high standards of clinical service delivery and outcomes within budget.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and safety, and to enhance the hospital's reputation and market position.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Nursing to ensure effective communication and coordination across the hospital.
- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets, and ensure effective resource allocation to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and make recommendations for improvement.
- Extensive experience in clinical nursing and management at a senior level, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).
- Strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes.
- Consultative leadership style and ability to build rapport and effectively relate with all stakeholders.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Well-developed financial and analytical skills, ability to manage KPIs, strategic planning, and promote and positively implement a patient-focused care model.
- Post-Graduate qualifications in Health Management would be advantageous.
- Strong HR skills.
