This position presents a chance to take on a leadership role in early childhood education, overseeing the daily operations of a new purpose-built learning centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining strong relationships with staff, families, and the community.

About the Role:

  • Support the Director in managing the daily operations of the Early Learning Centre.
  • Act as the nominated supervisor, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the Director's absence.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of early childhood educators.
  • Support educators in developing and implementing high-quality educational programs aligned with ECEC frameworks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with families and the wider community.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Approved Early Childhood teaching qualification (Diploma or Degree).
  • Working with Children Check or VIT registration.
  • Police check clearance.
  • Mandatory reporting training.
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and Asthma training.
  • Two professional references that can attest to your work with children.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, and Child Protection legislation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with families and children.
