Senior Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil estimator to lead our pre-contracts team in delivering high-quality project estimates.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years' experience in civil estimating, with onsite project experience in the construction industry, where they can demonstrate their expertise in managing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project estimates from first principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of estimates

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' civil estimating experience with onsite project experience in the construction industry, preferably in road, bridge, earthworks, public utilities, dam, pipeline, drainage, and pump station projects
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying or similar is preferred but not essential
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen to deliver accurate and cost-effective estimates
  • Advanced time management skills to support tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Well-developed communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
