About The Role

We're seeking an experienced professional with a passion for innovation and excellence to design, build, and improve applications used by thousands of schools across the country.

You'll be part of a cross-functional team that takes full ownership of its work from idea to delivery. You'll help shape the future of our products, work closely with stakeholders, and continuously improve the way we build software.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Designing and implementing product enhancements in a collaborative environment.
  • Embedding quality into everything you build—proactively maintaining and improving existing features.
  • Staying current with modern development practices and technology trends to keep our products ahead of the curve.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to ensure customer needs are met with market-fit solutions.
  • Supporting a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in agile methodologies and iterative delivery processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.
  • Communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills And Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years commercial experience in software development;
  • Solid experience with PHP, JavaScript, Angular, and MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of software development patterns (OOP, MVC, etc.).
  • A working understanding of agile methodologies and how to deliver iteratively.
  • Confidence collaborating across departments and communicating technical ideas clearly.
  • A curious mindset and the drive to stay on top of emerging tech trends.
  • Organised, thoughtful, and proactive in problem-solving.
