About the Role
As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering mail and parcels across your designated area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same.
Job Summary
- Safety: Conduct daily vehicle checks and adhere to safe working practices at all times
- Customer Service: Deliver mail and parcels to customers with a focus on providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle, adhering to Australia Post's fleet standards
- Time Management: Manage your time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and optimize your route
- Rider Mentorship: Work closely with experienced Rider Mentors to develop your skills and knowledge
About You
- You hold a full or probationary Australian motorcycle licence
- You have successfully passed our mandatory and practical riding assessment
- You are flexible with working additional hours if required
- You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including paid training, a motorbike and safety gear, and opportunities for career progression.
