Job Overview

We're seeking a talented Digital Designer to join our team, reporting to the Head of Design. As a Digital Designer, you'll play a key role in redefining our website and digital assets, enhancing how we represent and communicate intricate quantum concepts. Your responsibilities will include leading the conceptualization and execution of design solutions for complex quantum concepts, designing, building, and maintaining our website in Webflow, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design principles into our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of design solutions for complex quantum concepts, creating unique, engaging, and user-friendly experiences that enhance how we communicate our brand and products.
  • Drive creative vision, using your design skills to overcome complex challenges while uniting and inspiring collaborative teams around a shared direction.
  • Elevate the ordinary, developing compelling designs across digital and web platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand values and identity.
  • Collaborate at all levels, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of design principles into our digital assets.
  • Own the concept, overseeing web design projects from concept to completion, managing stakeholders, and solving problems efficiently for flawless execution.
  • Build systems, contributing to and maintaining a cohesive visual language by leveraging design systems for consistency and efficiency in our digital design.
  • Advocate for quality, championing a culture of design excellence, promoting collaboration, and sharing knowledge across teams.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in digital design.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing excellence in your craft.
  • Extensive experience with Webflow and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and best practices, with a creative thinker's approach to problem-solving using the design process.
  • Experience working with and maintaining design systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills, able to articulate design decisions and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on iterative design and rapid prototyping.
Nice to Have
  • Interactive Visualizations and Generative Art: Experience using JavaScript libraries like GSAP, D3.js, p5.js, or Three.js to create unique, data-driven visualizations and animations.
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices to optimize web content.
  • Analytics Tools: Familiarity with web analytics tools to measure and improve user engagement.
