Senior Packaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Packaging Specialist to fill a key role in our Melbourne office.
The successful candidate will provide critical packaging services to one of our largest clients, responding to contracted and project requests. You will be responsible for software packaging and repackaging, from discovery through to deployment support.
This role requires exceptional knowledge of packaging tools, InstallShield, PACE etc., as well as expertise in Windows 10, 11 and MacOS operating systems.
You will also possess strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years' IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approximately 3 years' experience in a similar Application Packaging role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software packaging and repackaging
- Package based on BAU tickets as well as project
- Participate in project planning sessions and project delivery
- Prepare documentation for use by Operational staff
- Analyse and rectify packaging problems
- Leverage enterprise grade tools, processes, and frameworks to deliver high quality services and outcomes to customers
Requirements:
- 5 years' IT industry experience
- Approximately 3 years' experience in a similar Application Packaging role
- Exceptional knowledge of packaging tools, InstallShield, PACE etc.
- Expertise in Windows 10, 11 and MacOS operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills
