As a seasoned Electrical Engineering Project Lead, you will spearhead the delivery of medium to large EPC and EPCM projects as part of an interdisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute electrical engineering project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electrical components and processes, resolving technical issues and ensuring complex project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical input and ensure procurement requirements are met.
  • Review and approve electrical engineering aspects of bid evaluations and awards, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions to upper management, ensuring project success.
  • Coordinate with client representatives to obtain approval of electrical engineering aspects of the work, ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in FEED, proposal & detailed engineering, preferably in an EPC/EPCM industry for large industrial plants, power projects, utilities, oil and gas plants.

Desired Skills:
  • Relevant work experience in design, procurement, construction, commissioning or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities or process plants.
  • Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.
  • Experience with engineering work planning and control methods and of precedents in the Electrical discipline and principles and practices of inter-related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of related construction practices and the associated costs.
  • Knowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of design features within the discipline.
