We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Everyday Independence. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Job Summary

This full-time or part-time Behaviour Support Practitioner role involves providing life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in Barwon and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized behaviour support plans to participants, utilizing positive behaviour support framework
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and implement effective interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants and their supports

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field)
  • Deemed Behaviour Support Practitioner status by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
