About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Works and Field Services team as a Leading Hand (Trade Asset Services). This is a permanent full-time position at LGE Level 5 - 6 with a salary commencing at $65,696 plus 12.5% superannuation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct construction, landscape, and playground maintenance tasks
  • Perform inspections, reporting, and maintenance of parks, reserves, and playgrounds
  • Maintain fencing, pathways, shelters, retaining walls, shade sails, and outdoor furniture
  • Operate small plant including kanga, elevated work platform, and job truck
  • Ensure a sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current C Class Driver License (MR Licence would be an advantage)
  • Experience in construction, landscape, and playground maintenance
  • A relevant trade certificate would be an advantage
  • The ability to be agile and resilient to adjust to changes at short notice
  • A community-focused approach to deliver quality services for residents and visitors
  • A belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
