Terminal Operations Specialist

Exciting opportunity exists for a Terminal Operator role at our Pinkenba site. We seek an experienced Tradesman/Trades Assistant/Apprentice looking to advance their career. As a Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of terminal operations, including shipping, product transfers, tank gauging, stock control, and truck loading operations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient workflows, operating control systems, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
**Job Responsibilities:**
We require someone with the following skills:
- A trade qualification in a Mechanical/Technical field (desirable)
- Experience working with documented Work Instructions and Procedures
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Previous experience in safety management systems, including permit to work
- Training and experience in truck and ship loading, as well as wharf duties
- Experience in chemical handling facility operations
- Understanding of handling Dangerous Goods and Hazardous chemicals
- Computer literacy
- Valid forklift license
- Confined space training certification
