Are you a data architecture expert looking to join a forward-thinking consultancy that shapes the cities and communities of Australia? As an Enterprise Architect at Urbis, you will play a pivotal role in aligning the business strategic vision with our technology.

The Job Description:

You will provide thought leadership and guidance on enterprise applications and cloud architecture principles, collaborating with stakeholders, business representatives, and technical resources to understand and translate business needs into technology solutions. Your expertise will ensure that the design and integration of proposed systems, software, and hardware solutions lead to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership on enterprise applications and cloud architecture principles
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technology solutions
  • ID system interdependencies and collaborate with project teams for efficient delivery
  • Ensure effective use of technology for business growth
  • Monitor and analyse IT trends and developments
  • Develop plans for investing in systems architecture
  • Develop organisation wide Architecture diagrams and technical documentation
  • SUPPORT THE HEAD OF DATA & APPLICATIONS IN IDENTIFYING ONGOING REVENUE/COMMERCIALISATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE COMPANY
  • Present solutions to business stakeholders
  • Mentor junior members of the team
  • Share knowledge and processes within the team

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Computer Science or Data Science
  • At least 5 years' experience in data management with proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud computing platform (specifically Synapse)
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python
  • Demonstrable experience with strong technical skills in Enterprise Architecture design & management
  • Strong understanding of data governance and taxonomy
  • A passion for applying data to urban design and planning
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary between $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
