About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at CitiPower and Powercor Australia. As a key member of our Construction Management team, you will be responsible for managing internal and external construction projects to ensure successful delivery and meet key targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage internal and external construction projects to ensure successful delivery and meet key targets.
  • Develop and manage effective customer relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare scope for RFQ's to engage subcontractors in line with the project scope and specification.
  • Ensure that all work activities are undertaken in accordance with company policies, practices, processes, and standards.
  • Implement a safe working culture at all levels and ensure all health & safety policies, procedures, and practices are adhered to at all times.
Requirements
  • Current certification and qualification in an Electrical Trade or Construction Management.
  • Detailed knowledge of the concepts and principles of construction management.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in the concepts and principles of subcontractor management.
  • Detailed knowledge of technical standards, construction practices, and OH&S.
  • The ability to visualize a completed project before it is built to assess its risks, opportunities, resource requirements, and materials required.
