Casual Educator Role Overview

  • A part-time position available for a Casual Educator to join our team in Ballarat.
About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced educator who can contribute to delivering high-quality education programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively participating in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs to promote children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with children at all times, promoting their physical, emotional, social and cognitive development;
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and staff by adhering to Goodstart policies and procedures;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, communicating effectively and keeping them informed about their child's daily activities;
  • Supervise and support children during sleep time, meal times and outdoor play;
  • Support the centre team in maintaining a clean and organised environment;
Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent qualification;
  • A valid Working with Children Check;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required;
  • Flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 6:30pm;
