About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our Power Engineering team in delivering innovative solutions for high voltage power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating design solutions for transmission projects from 66kV to 500kV, working closely with clients to understand their project brief and technical requirements, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transmission line engineering projects and develop robust and innovative power engineering designs.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of the power business in a broader sense, leveraging your in-depth understanding of engineering disciplines, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage client expectations and build strong relationships to deliver successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in developing transmission line designs for high voltage electricity networks.
  • Ability to work well with others to deliver as a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a team of engineers and designers.
  • Able to manage client expectations and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to deliver successful outcomes.
