Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact, work with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:

As a Payment Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing subcontractor payments, investigating disputes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, interpret, and calculate subcontractor payments in line with contracts, rate cards, and industrial agreements.
  • Identify payment errors, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and resolve queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate audit records and documentation in compliance with policy requirements.
  • Provide clear guidance to stakeholders regarding payment standards and compliance.
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting, including variance analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve data accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, Delegation of Authority (DOA) matrix, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in Payment Assurance, Finance, Payroll, Administration, or Audit.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Able to resolve complex payment discrepancies and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
