Helicopter Avionics Specialist

As a member of the Australian Defence Force, you will play a critical role in maintaining the complex systems and components of military helicopters. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of these aircraft, both onboard ships and ashore.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair anti-submarine systems, aircraft weapons and armament, and other critical helicopter systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with flight director systems, navigational systems, and other avionics equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, radar, sonar, and doppler systems.
- Collaborate with other sailors to ensure the smooth operation of the ship and its aircraft.
- Participate in additional duties and training to become a highly skilled and versatile sailor.
