This challenging role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a trade certificate, significant experience in boiler making and excellent communication skills.

  • Evaluate safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Mark out structural fabrication shapes according to engineering specifications.
  • Prepare materials for bending, drilling or machining after steelyard dressing.
  • Assemble weld parts according to technical drawings and route sheets.
  • Perform welding tasks to carry out jobs efficiently.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools appropriate to each task.
  • Draw and interpret sketches relevant to each job.
  • Operate forklifts/cranes when required to shift load equipment.
  • Provide on-the-job training assistance when needed.
  • Dismantle replace assemble engineering components during general fabrication section activities.
  • Conduct QA /QC inspections at 3rd party vendors ensuring all Repairs/project works meet company standards liaising with Engineering product support as necessary.
Requirements:

Essential

Boilermaker Trade Certificate.

Significant boiler making experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents.

Strong attention to detail.

Desirable

Current forklift ticket.

Current dogman's ticket.
