Pest Management Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pest Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work across various defence bases in Perth, within the Environmental Services department, reporting to the Supervisor.

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday-Friday 07:00am-03:00pm, with some flexibility required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet all variable pest and vermin works within specified timeframes and client requirements, ensuring safe operations and adherence to chemical Safety Data Sheets.
  • Assist in implementing vector management activities, including monitoring, reporting, and control.
  • Provide accurate reports using Geographic Information System technology.
  • Maintain Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Risk Compliance Systems according to regulatory compliance.
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, and defence personnel.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Valid Australian driver's licence with a safe driving history.
  • Certificate III in Pest Management.
  • Prior experience in Pest Technician/Pest Control or similar roles.
  • Flexibility to accommodate client needs and requirements at short notice.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent self-management skills.
  • Willingsness to travel outside Perth metropolitan areas when required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical checks, including drug and alcohol screening, and police check.
