
Strategic Communications Campaign Manager

- Develop strategic and crafted PR campaigns, calendar plans, and critical path timelines
- Lead day-to-day client activity, ensuring forward planning and timely execution of all deliverables
- Oversee and approve PR and social plans before escalating for senior sign-off Maintain and update key account tools such as coverage trackers, media lists, influencer databases, and shared folders
- Act as event lead for any brand activations or media-facing experiences within your portfolio
- Ensure all client work is aligned with brand tone, messaging, and KPIs Identify challenges early and escalate with proactive, solutions-oriented thinking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media and influencer contacts
- Lead the charge on securing interviews, feature coverage, and media appointments
- Introduce junior team members to key contacts and help them grow their networks
- Stay across industry news and media landscape shifts that could impact client visibility
- Develop a deep understanding of your clients' brands, products, markets, and competitors
- Lead regular WIP meetings, project briefings, and ongoing communications with clients
- Respond to client needs in a timely, solution-focused manner, coordinating across your team
- Bring fresh, creative thinking to campaign strategy , including non-traditional PR opportunities such as partnerships, social content, and brand collaborations
- Support and guide junior team members across all areas of account work
- Maintain open communication with your Client Lead or Senior Manager on account status, performance, and team development
- Provide constructive feedback and participate in performance check-ins and mentorship conversations
- Contribute to new business proposals, decks, and meetings in collaboration with senior leaders
- Support the creation of scope of work documents and budget estimates for new and existing clients
- Monitor run rates, timesheets, and account resourcing to reduce over-servicing Identify opportunities for organic growth and new projects within existing accounts
- Own the development of case studies that highlight strong results and creative thinking
- Take an active interest in areas beyond traditional PR including digital, internal comms, and content
- Offer ideas and improvements for our internal systems, processes, and team culture
- Contribute suggestions for agency marketing channels and thought leadership
Required skills include 3-5 years of experience in a PR or communications agency environment, proven track record of running day-to-day client work with minimal supervision, confident managing and mentoring junior team members, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, strong media and influencer relationships across relevant sectors, and highly organized, solutions-focused, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
