Accounting Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and reporting for a mine site.

Your primary focus will be on stewardship of the ledger, utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) systems to prepare insightful reporting and understand business performance. This includes completing month-end processes, annual budgeting, and mid-year forecasts using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ledgers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for the mine site
  • Stewardship of the general ledger for company codes, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses
  • Support audit requirements for multiple mines during hard close, half-year, and full-year audit processes
  • Development of expertise in ERP and BI software
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting/Business or related field
  • CPA or CA membership
  • At least 3 years of experience in management accounting, with mine accounting experience desirable
