Volunteer Opportunity: Branch Run Shop Assistant

This is an ongoing role working weekdays with regular shifts at a local retail shop. We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to provide excellent customer service, assist in the efficient running of the shop, and help locals feel at home.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for retail and presentation, be comfortable handling money, and able to commit to a shift on a regular basis. A passion for helping others and raising funds for a good cause would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager, providing a positive experience for customers while contributing to a safe and inclusive culture with wellbeing at its centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Store Manager in the efficient and effective running of the shop
  • Providing excellent customer service and helping locals and regulars feel at home
  • Contributing to a safe and inclusive culture with wellbeing at its centre
  • Supporting fundraising efforts for Australian Red Cross

Requirements:

  • Flair for retail and presentation
