Technical Installation Specialist

Multiple full-time permanent roles are available for skilled technicians to join our front-line team.

As a Technical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing the installation of stage equipment, sound systems, lighting systems, AV infrastructure, screens, projectors, and other entertainment industry technologies into venues across Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Job planning, including equipment and tool preparation;
  • Accurate site marking out to engineered drawings;
  • Developing safe access methods for both yourself and equipment;
  • Repairing machinery using correct methods, including HILTI systems;
  • Ensuring machines operate smoothly and correctly by truing them;
  • Setting limit switches and other sensors;
  • Final commissioning of equipment;
  • Achieving client sign-off.

Previous experience as a crane mechanic, lift installer, or theatre technician is highly valued. Electricians, AV technicians, and fabricators with relevant skills also excel in this role.

Required qualifications include a current Construction General Induction (White Card). An Elevated Work Platforms License, Basic/Advanced Riggers ticket, and Working at Heights Certificate are considered advantageous.
