We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Mount Isa, Queensland. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and families to promote health, well-being, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment, intervention, and case management services to children and families in a remote community setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and families.
- Conduct home assessments and modification assessments to promote safe and accessible environments for children.
- Administer data and maintain accurate records to inform treatment plans and evaluate outcomes.
- Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHRPA).
- Experience in providing assessment, intervention, and case management services in various settings.
- Strong understanding of the health issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and a commitment to improving health outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Current C Class Driver's License (QLD) and satisfactory police check.
- Competitive salary range of $82,000 to $128,000 per annum, plus salary sacrifice.
- Relocation allowance to Mount Isa and professional development allowance.
