Dynamic RDHM VNA Systems Engineer

Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic RDHM VNA Systems Engineer to join our passionate and high-performing team.

About the Role

This pivotal role involves leading the solution architect design, build, and configuration processes for RDHM's VNA onboarding. As a key member of the RDHM VNA project team, you will work with vendors to design and implement a Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the solution architecture design and build processes for RDHM's VNA onboarding.
  • Test and evaluate new technologies using Cyber Security best practices, including assessments and treatment action plans.
  • Oversee security penetration testing and address vulnerability findings in collaboration with the ICT Systems Team.
  • Review systems to ensure they are supported and appropriately licensed for compliance with copyright and usage requirements.
  • Identify and manage opportunities to enhance processes and systems, ensuring timely implementation without compromising quality.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and root cause investigation of technical incidents to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalling, WAN connectivity, proxy technologies, intrusion prevention, vulnerability mitigation, and two-factor authentication.
  • Expertise in high availability web environments, hosting, load balancing, and DNS.
  • Experience designing and administering hybrid cloud infrastructures (vNets/VPCs, subnets, security groups, network appliances, virtual machines).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and VMware, including architecting and administering enterprise server environments.
  • Experience in planning and implementing servers, routing, and switching across WAN and LAN.
  • Experience in solution architecture and systems engineering.
  • Strong technical background, particularly in VNA or related healthcare IT systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for leveraging technology to enhance healthcare delivery.
