Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic RDHM VNA Systems Engineer to join our passionate and high-performing team.
About the RoleThis pivotal role involves leading the solution architect design, build, and configuration processes for RDHM's VNA onboarding. As a key member of the RDHM VNA project team, you will work with vendors to design and implement a Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) solution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the solution architecture design and build processes for RDHM's VNA onboarding.
- Test and evaluate new technologies using Cyber Security best practices, including assessments and treatment action plans.
- Oversee security penetration testing and address vulnerability findings in collaboration with the ICT Systems Team.
- Review systems to ensure they are supported and appropriately licensed for compliance with copyright and usage requirements.
- Identify and manage opportunities to enhance processes and systems, ensuring timely implementation without compromising quality.
- Oversee the troubleshooting and root cause investigation of technical incidents to maintain operational excellence.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalling, WAN connectivity, proxy technologies, intrusion prevention, vulnerability mitigation, and two-factor authentication.
- Expertise in high availability web environments, hosting, load balancing, and DNS.
- Experience designing and administering hybrid cloud infrastructures (vNets/VPCs, subnets, security groups, network appliances, virtual machines).
- Proficiency with Microsoft and VMware, including architecting and administering enterprise server environments.
- Experience in planning and implementing servers, routing, and switching across WAN and LAN.
- Experience in solution architecture and systems engineering.
- Strong technical background, particularly in VNA or related healthcare IT systems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
